About Maykha and Malikha
MyaZedi provide more attractive features two opentype font for Myanmar Localization Development. We planned those features in last 6 month ago. And We realized Myanmar language user needs and wants in daily usage. Recently Myanmar user can't know what they made mistake or mistype Myanmar words in typing period. Actually, We have already defined our possible patterns (Syllable Structure) By Myanmar Linguists. So, We regulated their defined Structured and put it on our fonts. Then, We added some shaping features in our font.

It's so-called MayKha and Malikha which are river names from Nothern Myanmar Part and neighbouring Giant China and India. It is decorated with towering snow-capped mountains. Only and Unique area of South East Asia.

Kachin people call Maykha as N-mai Kha. “N-mai” means bad. “Kha or Hkha” is river or water. Hence, N-mai Kha means bad river. It is so named because it is a wild river with rapid currents. Maykha is just a corruption of N-mai Kha. “N” is pronounced as “In” and in the course of times “N” is simply dropped out and Maikha becomes Maykha.

Malikha in Jinphaw means “4 rivers”, Kachin people call the Ayeyawady river also as “Malikha”. Malikha also has many tributaries. It is 136 miles long and 110 feet deep. This water is icy and clear round the year. It flows through wider valleys so the currents are gentle and smooth. Gold-panning rafts can be seen along the river.
